Acumatica

This guide explains how to connect your Acumatica ERP instance to Peaka in order to access and analyze your Acumatica data within the Peaka platform.

This article guides you through the process of connecting Acumatica to Peaka, allowing you to seamlessly access your Acumatica data within the Peaka platform.

Prerequisites

Acumatica has no central sign-in service: every instance is its own authorization server, so the application Peaka signs in as has to be registered inside your own instance. Before you start, you will need the following:

  • Instance URL
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

To register the application you need access to the Connected Applications (SM303010) form, which usually means an administrator account. Sign in to the tenant whose data you want to query before you begin — the client ID Acumatica generates is bound to that tenant, and the application will only ever see that tenant's data.

Registering Peaka in Acumatica

  1. On the System tab, click "Integration". In the navigation pane, navigate to Configure > Connected Applications.

  2. In the "Client Name" box, type a name for the application, for example Peaka.

  3. In the "OAuth 2.0 Flow" box, select "Authorization Code".

  4. On the "Secrets" tab, click "Add Shared Secret" on the tab toolbar. Type a description, then copy the value shown in the "Value" box and keep it somewhere safe — this is your Client Secret, and Acumatica does not display it again.

Leave "Expires On (UTC)" empty unless you plan to rotate the secret. If you enter a date, the connection stops working on that date and has to be reconnected with a new secret.

  5. On the "Redirect URIs" tab, click "Add Row" and enter the Peaka callback URL:

https://peaka.studio/oauth2/callback

The redirect URI has to match exactly, has to be absolute, and must not contain a fragment (the part after #).

  1. On the form toolbar, click "Save". The generated client ID now appears in the "Client ID" box.

You do not need to configure any scopes: Peaka requests the permissions it needs when you authorize the connection.
