How to Create, Edit, Delete, and Set a Home Page
In Peaka, you can easily manage your project's pages, including creating, editing, and deleting them. Additionally, you can set a specific page as your home page, which will be the first page users see when they access your project. This article provides step-by-step instructions for these tasks.
Understanding Page URLs
Each page in Peaka has its own URL structure, following this format:
pageUrl + /pageSlug
Creating a Page
- Access the "Pages Panel": Open the Pages Panel from the side panel of your workspace.
- Add a new page: Click on the "+" icon located at the top of the panel, then select the "New Page" option. This action will open a modal, as shown below.
- Name: Specify the name of your page.
- Slug: The slug determines the page's URL path.
- Design Mode: You have two design mode options:
- Basic: Utilizes a layout with a grid system.
- Advanced: Allows you to use a layout with a flex system.
- Create the page: After providing the necessary details and selecting the design mode, click on the "Create Page" button to create the page.
Editing a Page
- Access the page options: Click on the three dots button (ellipsis) next to the page you want to edit and select "Edit Page."
- Edit page details: Enter the desired values for the page's name, slug, and design mode. Then click the "Edit Page" button to save your changes.
Deleting a Page
- Access the page options: Click on the three dots button (ellipsis) next to the page you wish to delete and select "Delete Page."
- Confirm deletion: A confirmation modal will appear. To confirm the deletion of the page, click on the "Yes" button.
Setting a Page as the Home Page
- Access the page options: Click on the three dots button (ellipsis) next to the page you want to set as the home page.
- Confirm the home page change: A modal will appear to confirm the change. Click on the "Yes" button to set the selected page as your home page.
